Google Plus Commenting on YouTube - ALL G+ COMMENTS POSTS HERE

I mentioned this in another post but I'll mention it here too. What people need to understand is that all new things have glitches. I'm not a programmer nor do I claim to know about programming but every new thing has glitches. Even a brand new car will have issues because it's never been driven, hence they can't know what will happen until it is. It's possible the new system was tested but they didn't properly account for the issues we're now having. They will fix it.

I think a lot of what frustrates people are not glitches but the intentional changes.

I agree but think that people shouldn't be angry at the intentional changes. If they take the time to think for themselves they will realize that the changes are good. Also, this integration happened for a reason and its not going anywhere. So they better get used to it.

Didn't they say if you joined Google+, you could get your YouTube account verified? How come there's no verification tick? Is there a special way to get it once you join G+? I thought it was meant to happen straight away.

You need to be a massive youtube channel to get verified. Like probably at least 100-200k
Ooooh okay. Thanks. Makes sense now I guess, although even between 50-100k people still get impersonators, sometimes lower. To be honest, I just wanted the blue tick cause it looked cool D:

Thing is, I personally am not against G+ comment integration, I think it's actually beneficial both ways. But they way it's done and the way it still is at the moment is bad. From opening replied comments in new tabs instead of just expanding them in threaded mode like before, links in comments, comment ranking is ridiculous imho etc etc. those things need to be sorted out asap, it's freaking Google, they should've fixed it by now.

However, I kinda like that you have to comment with your Google account name, which is the real life name for many people. There are still easy workarounds to that, but I guess many people and many kids don't know that and/or don't want to bother, which might results in overall less spam and less idiotic/troll/toxic commenting.
