Google Plus Commenting on YouTube - ALL G+ COMMENTS POSTS HERE

Yep. It's an evil business practice.

I think that everyone who hates the change should use AdBlock. Together, we can hopefully put a big enough dent into Google's YouTube income to make them realize that they need to revert the change. Most people have no interest in G+, so there are enough of us to put a huge dent in the income. The only problem is that not enough YouTube creators and viewers view these forums, so we need to somehow make it more public for it to succeed.

Maybe we could make an official boycott thread here. Then all the YouTube creators who come here can make a video linking to the thread. There are also the Google support forums, but the thread would probably just be deleted.

I know one downside to my idea is that YouTube creators would not make even close to as much money, but there's no way to avoid that when making a dent in Google's income.
Punishing hard working YouTubers like FreddieW by taking away money he *earns* to get a point across about changes he didn't make would be a terrible idea.

It pisses me off because google+ is s**t and confusing, and if they wanted it to be successful they should look to making changes to it to make it more appealing to people. Not f*****g force it down youtube users throats. I've made the switch because I've finally been forced too and now I can't even get s**t done apparently the youtube inbox link is gone and I have to go search for it, and this new comment feature doesn't have a reply button. how am I suppose to f*****g reply to people who leave a comment on my videos if there is no f*****g reply button?

Oh my god... This is incredible. Twitter is blowing up in madness, Facebook is probably the same right now. It seems like very few people like this new change. I wonder if Google will give in and change it back, or if they're just going to ignore everybody.

I kinda like the new commenting thing but I don't like that you need Google+ :/
The problem is, if you are a youtuber who likes to respond to every single fan comment, YOU CAN'T unless they make the switch too.

I think theres no reply button cuz those people didnt switch yet, but either way, what if those fans dont want to bother switching? I wouldnt blame them at all but I wonder how many fan interactions I and others are gonna lose cuz of this.

Just great, so first they make it that videos don't show up sometimes in search results meaning you're purely restricted to subs (which isn't entirely bad but it's still bad), they made the comments section difficult to reply to by not showing the original conversation and now I'm reading that I can't reply to my viewers when they comment? Wtf bullcrap is this. I want my viewers to comment to feel more welcome and to start conversations amongst themselves so that I can enjoy reading and replying to some.

Yeah...apparently they're working on the 'reply' part. And you will be able to reply to people soon. But right now it doesn't seem to be working for everyone :/

Yes exactly there are a lot of people who watch youtube without even bothering logging in, and now the people who have bothered to do so can't leave comments unless they link to google+ so that means there's gonna be plenty of people who won't bother and will just stop commenting. So yea this is horrible especially for us small youtubers where a big part of what we do is interaction with the viewers. I think its pretty clear that Google doesn't give two s***s about the youtube community, and are only focused on their plans for world domination.

100% correct! Small youtubers screwed! Big youtubers, unaffected.
Majority of my fan base doesn't use Google+ so I guess this will show me (and other small time youtubers like me) how strong the fan base really is.

Yeah, I just noticed the reply button has shown up again. Not liking that comments are going to G+ though, it's hard enough as it is managing FB and twitter, not not only will your G+ inbox include YouTube comments but comments you might get on G+
