Google Plus Commenting on YouTube - ALL G+ COMMENTS POSTS HERE

Hey everyone.
When I logged into youtube today it came up saying that the youtube comments have changed and you have to be linked to google+ to comments or something like that? I am really confused
So yeah, has this happened to everyone?
What is it?
What does it mean?

Google+ and YouTube comments are linked. So if you post your video on G+, any comments that come from there filter into your YouTube comments. At least that's the way I'm understanding it.

I am rarely on G+ and I don't understand how to get from one place to the next.

100% agree with you on that one! I only joined because I had to and want to get the benefit out of it for my YouTube channel only. I don't want to use it for any social aspect, or anything other then a means of promoting my YouTube videos!

I've seen that comment on some other videos (unless I'm thinking of the wrong thing). It looks kind of dumb, but that's nothing a delete can't fix (unless, of course, you can't delete it).
