Just accept it, make the best of it, and move on. Honestly it's not that big of a deal, and helps benefit your channel.

If you don't like it, move on to another website. It's not going anywhere.

THERE ARE NO OTHER WEBSITES. Which is exactly why Google can get away with this.

You're not trapped into anything. If you don't like it, change sites. There are sites out there to post your videos. Will you get the same reaction? Probably not. But don't say you're trapped, or forced into anything. You're choosing to use YouTube. You're choosing to continuing to use it.
 
With all the hate I heard about this topic, I'm suprised to see some positivity here. I haven't started doing videos on Youtube so I don't know how it effects that, nor do I comment much. But grouped/threaded replys, the Google+ Notification system for replys, tagging people for converstaions, and some other good stuff. I honestly don't think its that bad, but I like I said I haven't had much experience using it. So far I've seen that once you connect it, you don't have to deal with it much. If Facebook bought Youtube and did this, no one would have a problem.
 
I can understand that people think it's bad (it's broken atm), but it's time that people accept and try to embrace it then making threads how much they hate it ;)
People say that if we whine enough they will take it away, they won't because they are so big that they will just do it anyway :p
They will probably make it better and we will all like it in the end ^^
