Google+ community shares post comment on Youtube video?!

Hey guys and gals,

I've been part of a few Google+ communities for about a week now and it seems pretty cool, but there's one thing that really annoys me.

If I try and share a video on a Google+ community it leaves a comment on my video of that post. I don't post all that often but I don't want those posts going in my comment feed.

I've scoured the settings and can't find anything to turn it off.

Any suggestions?

It's connected whenever I share the video there's a bunch of comments of what I wrote when I shared it. I just go n deleted afterward no big deal!

Well until recently you could delete the post off of the video and it would stay on the community page. But now it deletes it from there too

There must be a setting somewhere.

It usually asks you when you try to delete the comment from your video if you want to delete it entirely, just click on no & it should just remove that comment in your video but keep it shared in the community page :)

Yeah, that's the problem, that feature doesn't show up anymore :p

Ah really?? It shows up for me still O.o
If you really want to, just don't write anything on the video you post & just hope that the thumbnail & video title says it all for the viewers haha

I think that only people into those communities can see that comment =)

But I never tested It.. You could try to watch your video after a log out! Then report here if It is resolved :D

Yes this is something stupid of Google+ I tried to delete comments on Youtube, but then the posts on the communities disappears as well... I try to keep those posts on G+ on a minimum of 2, so people looking at the comments section of Youtube won't think it's dodgy

Same here I generally keep my posts to only a few communities I wanna get involved in. But I don't wanna share videos if it means spamming comments on my own videos lol.

Wasted opportunity Google.

Worst thing is, if several people decides to +1 you on G+, your silly promoting post will be up in the comment section of Youtube
