Google Adwords Keyword Tool Setup?

Hello,

Does anyone know how to set up the Google Adwords Keyword Tool before you can use it? It keeps asking me for a bunch of information that doesn't apply to me. First, it asks what my website is. I don't have a website; I have a YouTube channel. If I enter my URL for THAT, it asks me if I want to call my business, visit my storefront, or take action on my website (which seems to assume I run some sorty of business). I don't want to do any of those things. I just want to use the keyword tool I've heard so much about. No one ever mentioned that I'd need to set it up; let alone that I'd be asked a bunch of irrelevant BS in the process. What do I need to do? Use something else?

I'm going through the same thing! I've seen this planner recommended multiple times.. but when I try to access it on the website, they keep trying to get me to buy advertising for myself. I'm not trying to buy ads. I keep getting emails about it, too.
 
Right? The other day, it asked me to confirm my address and billing info. For WHAT?

Yes, it does. Do you have a URL for the page that doesn't ask for all that information and just lets me use the tool? I'd very much appreciate it if you could point me in that direction. Thank you.
 
hi sorry Omeo, i have also a question concerning Adwords too. Is there a way to "re-earn" some invested budget throught the youtube channel? I mean, is it possible to get money back or in other words, how can i just minimize the amount of money for each click/view?
 
With all due respect, if you want your question answered, you're better off starting a new thread. People are less likely to answer your question if it's buried in mine.
 
You have to setup an ad to get access to the keyword planner.

If I remember correctly, I did an express ad for $5/day for my website and then paused it.
