Good vlogging idea?

So I had this idea to start a YouTube vlog (and to use my second language in it to add something different) and so I recorded my first vlog. It felt great, all the positivity but when I went to upload it, I backed out. The reason is because I am "camerashy" and the thought of someone watching me on youtube I backed out. I still want to do a vlog where I can express myself but as previously mentioned, I am camera shy.
So I got to thinking. The one thing that I really enjoy doing is playing video games. I have a couple of games for my PS 4 but one that I thought about was Minecraft. I know it's been overdone but hear me out. I'm not talking about any lets play or stuff like that. I'm talking about a different outlet to express myself and not do the routine Minecraft video like everyone else does. I just thought of this idea because I am camera shy and just wanted to get some opinions on it before I tested it out. So please let me know what you honestly think about it.

So are you going to film yourself? How will it be different to other gaming channels? And don't worry about being camera shy, I think everyone is when they start out! I'm only starting to get better now! haha I still feel awkward in front of the camera sometimes...

Well most other games focus on the game itself. In Minecraft, other channels do tutorials, let's play, mini games and the like. I'm wanting to use Minecraft as an outlet to express myself like a person would in a normal vlog. As I mentioned, I got real shy when I thought about uploading myself to Facebook so I thought of a way I didn't have to reveal myself. That's why I thought of using Minecraft as a vlog. I just play the game while I talk about stuff. I don't know whether this is a good idea or not which is why I'm wanting some opinions first. I really wanted to record myself and I almost uploaded it but I just got nervous and didn't. So I figured I could express myself without being seen.
