Good on-the-go vlog camera suggestions?

Iphone 5!!!!! But dont edit it on an iphone! Either use imovie, adobe premiere pro or final cut

That would involve me having a Mac and an Iphone. I use Sony Vegas to edit, it's pretty basic.
To be honest, most cameras these days record in HD, and the qualiy is more then enough for vlogging.
I did like the larger sensor in the Canon PowerShot S95 though - a larger sensor shoots better in lower light conditions ;)
I'm really worried about weird lines in the HD recordings, like, the edges are super sharp and not right? I've just seen a few video tests in some of the cameras I've looked at in HD and it's super weird.
That PowerShot has really amazing reviews!
Hm thats odd, how much memory do you have on there? And how much internal memory?

11.35 GB internal storage and 7.38GB sd card. I constantly have to delete programs and photos.

You can still edit iPhone footage without a Mac. I've done it with Windows Movie Maker.

Virtually any smartphone camera should be good enough.

Mm but back to my original problem of limited phone space, the day's antics might fill up too much space and I need it to be closer to the quality that I can get out of my DSLR so I can use both in the same video.

The PowerShot s95 is used by a large number of professional photographers as a backup compact camera for use during times when they do not have their DSLR's etc with them. I had one for a while and its my camera of choice TBH. Does an amazing job.

That's weird! Maybe it's your memory card? Maybe try replacing it?

I have a Canon Powershot ELPH 300HS, and I can tell you that it's very high quality, and about 150 dollars. :)

Surprisingly powerful little device. 12.1 Megapixels, and full 1080p HD.
