I Love YTtalk
Good News: My most successful Reddit post ever. 330 upvotes, lots of engaging comments and about 2500 views
Bad News: It was an adoption video I made from Vimeo not a video from YouTube. I wanted to post something from a source other than my channel so I'm not seen as a spammer.
My Thoughts: My success on Reddit varies widely and I don't know why. It is a bit fool-hardy to speculate on why this one worked so well. However, I think people may have liked the video because the dog is in the shelter right now looking to be adopted. People may have cared more. I've been thinking about adding an extra video each week showing a current pet that we have available.
The subreddit was r/somethingImade. There are a lot of subreddits out there that may work for your videos. Keep on looking.
