Good Microphone?

I use the Blue Snoball, it is very sensitive and not too expensive. It does take up a good amount of real estate on your desk/table so I bought a scissor arm to go with it so it hangs in front of my face instead of on the table.

definitely go for the yeti over the snowball
The snowball is very quite and a pain to try and up the volume without hearing some background noises

You are going to get background noise on almost any microphone, that's why I post process with audacity, cleans everything up nicely.
