Good Comments Marked as Spam

Sorry to open another thread, I thought, to segregate it so that people like me, who are new, might find this easily, without being buried under a thread with a different title.

Youtube surprisingly marks all the good comments as Spam on my channel....

some more coincidences that I found out:

1. Usually these comments are from my loyal subscribers, who watch almost all my videos,
2. This people are regular commenters,
3. Usually the comments that are marked as spam, are the ones, in which they write in Hindi, the words are hindi, but they use english alphabets ... so that might be gibberish, but it's a norm, that I have seen almost every other language persons do.
4. 'Nice Video' and 'Great stuff' is always invariable marked as spam....

Why is that?
 
I have some comments markes as spam too from a few subscribers. Don't know how to solve this in the future :(
 
I too have noticed this as my comments have began to rise on all my videos, a few legit ones that Id definitely respond too are marked as spam, not sure why but it sure is annoying.

Thanks Amy for the suggestion. No I did not contact them, is there a way to complain such things to them, and do they really care or reply... :) with millions of uploaders, I think it would be impossible for them to really reply to all the complaints...

Did anyone ever got a personalized reply.... ?
 
I have seen the same thing (especially on popular videos) and sometimes stupid comments get over many thumbs up, it's quite sad really... :( As far as the legit and good comments, yeah unfortunately there isn't much that could be done, but you may be able to sort through them "manually" if your videos don't have over 500+ comments or something like that..
 
True. The comments which has a website link or a product to sell is not marked as spam, but many of the good comments are. I think there is something more than that meets the eyes... There has to be a logic in it. Youtube is not dumb enough to do that, or missed it... :) some logic has to be there....

I've noticed that too. Sometimes I think it's from other people marking the comment as spam for some reason (not YouTube). We did a video where my sister had a One Direction iPad case and someone said "Nice iPad case!" and it got marked as spam (I can see someone thinking they are funny by marking that as spam). We've had other similar ones like that too where I feel like someone was marking the comment as spam to be ironic. But I don't know. It's weird.
