Going to buy I MAC need some advice

Before I was going to build an editing rig, i7,gtx 970,16GB ram.... but I liked the Mac feel and style also there built in software I prefer mac for editing and windows for internet and gaming. Why not have both.
If you feel more comfortable editing on a Mac by all means you should go for it there I don't really have anything against it :)

Answer is : Personaly opinion anything nikon can do canon can do especially with editing software and btw Canon FTW

That's a bias answer though. Sony cameras are great in low light, and give much better color. However, being a filmmaker, I want something flat, that doesn't drain ALL the color out of it, so I can color grad in post. Canon does that, but it drains so much of the color.

If you do your Picture style you can choose to make it over or under saturated, contrast... then re adjust in post it is what ever is more comfortable for you and what look you prefer I like the 5 year old usability feel of canon (simplicity) and other like the professional feel of Nikon etc..

The good thing with Canon is Magic Lantern which allows you to shoot RAW, the dynamic range and colour in the raw mode is really amazing :D Also, lets not forget the HDR mode too :P

I have the money just soo you know.

Great! But, I just thought, instead of going to third-party websites you can save some money and get it directly from Apple (mostly) new. That's how I bought my Macbook Pro, and I have had zero issues - and it comes with the standard warranty if you were to buy it full price.

Heh, my laptop is more powerful than that and cost the same, you'd be better building your own, if you really really want OSX on it, build a Hackintosh and you'll save a lot of money that can be spent on better gear.
