Going full-time YouTuber!

Wow, I didn't expect that you would do that, even though your Channel makes enough money for the whole family because you said you actually like your job.
But how do you plan to fill your day? I mean...now you have at least 8 hours a day and I doubt you will drag your children every day in front of the camera to make a new video. Do you plan to start a new channel or a new series on the channel? Or simply spend much more time in creating ideas and editing?
I'm happy for success but I'm a bit uncertain about the decision to quit your job.

My plans are to spend more time editing and honing the craft, increasing our output in a way that won't stress the girls, spending more time marketing the brand, pursuing revenue opportunities outside of YouTube, and also just having fun!

The moment of realization for me was that all of my thoughts and energy and passion were pulling me towards video, and I realized I wasn't being fair to myself or my employer. When they announced some organizational changes that would likely take away what little time I had for editing, I realized I had to make a choice. I know I made the right decision and I can't wait to see what the future holds !
 
Not surprising at all. When I joined this forum you were active and your content was top notch with a large following. I'm sure it wasn't an easy decision to make, but many of us wish we had the opportunity to choose youtube as a career.

Wow, I can't wait til I have the Sub count to do that. BTW if you don't mind me asking do you make enough to support your family off of You Tube alone, or are you going to just get a part time Job to supplement your income? I just wanted to get an Idea of what someone at your subscriber level makes.
 
Congrats!! Thank you for always contributing to this forum and sharing your stories! It's inspiration for a lot of us starting out. Looking forward to seeing your channel grow and grow!
