Giveaways?

Hi everyone :)

So we reached 200 subscribers this week and we were SO happy! We want to continue to see growth though as it's so motivating!
We were thinking of running a giveaway to gain subs, but will this gain loyal subs or just people wanting to win and then unsubscribe after the competition is over?
Also, what is the best sort of thing to give away? T-shirts etc?

Give always do get attention. It can get loyal subs. Especially if the person won they become loyal.

I know that 200 is a big achievement for you but I feel it could be too early for a give away. I might be wrong. But I think a good give away would be maybe when you reach 1,000 subs. Again I might be wrong.

But if you are thinking of making a give away I think at tshirt would be good if you already have your merchandise made its also a good way to advertise your merchandise while advertising you giveaway.

I think you get a lot of people who will unsubscribe after that. ( Maybe not). And a few loyal subs.
T-shirt is good for a give-away i think.
 
Get them to be active on your video uploads, make them get noticed by you, etc.

You could give away; Game Codes, T-Shirts, Objects, Online stuff etc.

Congratulation on 200 subscribers!! Yea I was thinking of doing some sort of giveaway too. However I don't want subscribers who will sub for the free stuff then unsubscribe. So I'm still debating about this. Also is this against the term of service? I don't want my channel to get ban but I've seen so many channel in my niche doing giveaway.
 
I think giveaways are a good way to keep the audience interested, but like others said, there could be a lot of subscribers that subscribe just for the giveaway, but then unsubscribe afterwards. Out of the new subscribers, there would be, of course, a few loyal ones.

Yea that's probably a great idea! I'm waiting for 1000 subscribers before I'm doing the giveaway and I'm not even telling anyone ahead of time! That way I know at least those 1000 subscribes sub to me without wanting free stuff in return!! =)
 
Thats a good idea! Well good luck on reaching your goal, we just subscribed, such a unique channel idea :)
