Giveaway rules

Hey everybody,

I'm planning a giveaway on my youtube channel and the rules just confused me.
My giveaway will not have a sub as condition or to give a like. They just have to leave a comment. It will be worldwide. I will show the prices in the video and name the brands (but I bought them all with my own money; so not sponsored) I'm not a yt partner.
Is this ok?

Another question: Big youtubers still have the subscription to their channel as a condition to their giveaway and they have to like the video, share it etc.. I though this is forbidden? Or does yt just not care?

If you google something called ezgiveaway they provide a free service that will sort it all out for you and you get extra exposure. It allows people to enter how they wish so it can include FB likes and follows on twitter. That's up to the viewer.

I've used them several times and it works quite well. Up to you if you want to use it though.

I don't think Youtube would kick off about unless there was something really dodgy going on.
 
The YouTube rules have always freaked me out a little when it comes to giveaways, I understand why they have to do it but I'm avoiding it for now. I've seen a lot of giveaways on YouTube with various conditions so I'm assuming they don't govern it too closely as long as everyone was generally being ethical about it.
