Give aways!?

I want to know what do you guys think about give aways? Do you think it helps keep a solid audience? Or is it bribing the audience in a way?

It makes the subscriber feel appreciated for watching ur content

I'm not sure how I feel about it...
I would only do a giveaway if I had a proper competition of some sort, and if it felt right. (Certain number of active subscribers etc.)

They would have to earn it :O

In my opinion i think a giveaway should be like a treat from time to time,its like you appreciate every one that watches your videos and your fans. and yeah it also help gain more views too.. there's always those scavy people looking for giveaways..

I've seen channels do giveaways at 1000 subscribers (and even less milestones) and they get nothing out of it really. They might subscribe to you but they'll eventually unsubscribe.

If you have a big enough loyal fanbase then yes do a giveaway best way to find this out maybe is ask for Q&A question for a video then you will see then how many hardcore fans you have But who doesn't love a giveaway right

I know a lot of people do giveaways and it's fun for subscribers. But at the same time, I wouldn't want people to subscribe just so they can enter the giveaway then never be interested in watching my videos.

I don´t see it as a bribe, I think that it is a great way to show appreciatiion to your subs, but I understand why some people wouldn´t like it.
