I've seen plenty of videos where girls are doing a bit more than showing me how to put make up on. The capture card tutorial I used on youtube was made by a girl so she was at least one good example of not doing that.

Does this mean girls who do gaming or music channels don't count? lol. Also, I have nothing against makeup gurus. If I could look that fabulous all the time I would flaunt it on YouTube too! It's definitely not easy.

As for guys taking over YouTube...the sad fact is guys take over most things in the world still. People like to think that genders are equal today but in reality they're not. The only reason girls often ban together is because we know what it feels like to be segregated or treated different. Just like there's often groups for specific races or religions that need others who know. I often find myself supporting girl channels more then guys just cause of some weird "sister bond" mentality I have. Which is why it sucks that so many girls are catty and girl-hating themselves. As if girls don't have enough to deal with being in a man's world.

Wow sorry, went on a little feminist rant there! In closing, we should be supporting ALL types of channels from girls...as girls. Not saying one is more needed then another.

Not being funny but the last 2 jobs I was turned down for where because they didn't have a high enough female to male ratio. I was more qualified and experienced in both circumstances but they literally could not hire me because they could of been liable to being sued. So it's not just females that know what it's like to be treated differently because of their reproductive organs being on a different side of the wall
