We need more awesome girl vloggers!! legit vloggers! No more "makeup gurus"! its honestly not that hard to buy some makeup and put it on in front of the camera or show off things you buy and tell others are great!
and dont get me wrong I love some of those makeup vloggers! I love bubzbeauty A lottt!

but Girls! Come On! were down in the ranks with the boys and all we've got to show is makeup tutorials?!?! I know how to do my makeup! show me something Good!!

I may not be great yet, but once i get my new camera, and get to cali where i can make friends and make more legit skits, im going for a youtube take over from the boys :D ...erm...slowly but surely anyways XD One step for girl kind! lols

wahhhh completely agree!!! I'm always searching for other girls to chat to and get advice off who are doing similar things to me on youtube but it is literally all guys! And yes, agreed about the makeup thing! It is nice to see it done professionally (like MichellePhan does) but I don't think anyone has time to do all that in the morning!? Like the highlighting and 'contouring'?! We definitely need more vloggers! :D :D
 
yeah my videos easy so far. but i mean Im going for skits and stuff like Joey graceffas videos (not his vlogs and game vids) also like mike diva to! those are the kind of girls I wanna see and thats the kind of girl vlogger I wanna be! female version of mika diva!! YEAH LOL
 
I, too, am confused.

Why, as a girl YouTuber, is it important to talk to other girl YouTubers about YouTubey things? Shouldn't we all ideally be gender-blind?

But regardless, I recommend you take a look at BigFrame's network Wonderly - it seems like many of those channels are fairly tightly-knit and have a pretty successful community going.

Also, watch MariVoiles. She's awesome.

WOOO girlss! Yeah I agree somewhat. a lot of the big vloggers are guys.. but I disagree about the makeup.. it does take a lot of skill to do that.. they need to learn how to edit/film/and be entertaining if they want to be top notch.
