to be honest i prefer photoshop ... just bcuz i always used it lol

When I was learning how to use Gimp I would either think of a cool idea and google a tutorial on how to do it, or I would just find one of those pages that has like "40 Amazing GIMP Tutorials" and I'd find one I like and make a thumbnail using the techniques. But like someone said earlier, just messing around and exploring it yourself is really the best way to go about learning it. Good luck on those thumbnails!

yea messing around really opens you`re eyes to the tools and a few tutorials here and there never hurt lol
