GIMP IS THE BEST

I used GIMP a lot, it can do a lot of things. Something it does better than Photoshop IMO.

The thing with photoshop is that it is SUCH a deep program. GIMP in a lot of ways is like an old photoshop. There are so many things on CS6 that GIMP just doesn't have.

Once I first got photoshop, I just got so angry with it because in a lot of ways it feels less intuitive. But once you bother to sit down and play with photoshop. It starts becoming apart how much more convenient it is.

GIMP is better for simple projects IMO, Photoshop is where you get things done to make images amazing.

Gimp is quite powerful, but the lack of adjustment layers is a bit of a deal-breaker for me.[DOUBLEPOST=1370996171,1370996137][/DOUBLEPOST]Also, content-aware fill. Freakin' game-changer!

I agree on content aware tool. That tool is so powerful, I feel like many people don't even know much about it.

It can generate parts of images that don't exist, and still look good.
