I recently have stumbled upon a simple way to follow a mass amount of people per day ( up to 1,000 because that's all twitter allows per day) that all have high refollow ratios. Although it seems a bit spammy, it is effective and it has really helped me to get more exposure for my channel. I started my channel 2 months ago and I'm currently at 250 subscribers and 3,200 views. This is accomplished in a few ways:
1.) Go to the website crowdfireapp.com. Log in via your twitter account. On the left side you should see something that says "automate". Click that and check the box that says "auto DM". Under auto DM you should see a box where you can make a twitter DM message that will be sent to EVERYONE that follows you. I use 2 DM messages (because twitter only allows you to send 5o0 duplicate messages a day and I follow 1000 people, thus I need 2 different messages) that say something along the lines of "Thanks for following! If you're interested in funny videos/commentary here's my channel! (insert channel link here)." The other message is the exact same but instead of my channel link it says "check out my pinned post!" This gets your channel link and videos out there to anyway who follows you, which drastically helps with exposure, thus increasing views, subs, etc.
2.) You need to go to bitly.com and create a link shortener for you channel because you may not be able to fit your entire channel link into the Twitter DM message effectively, so making a link shortener helps with that.
3.) Go to google and search "Tweepi Bulk Default Action" and install this addon for google chrome (if you don't use chrome then you can't do this, but this addon is not required for being able to do this marketing method) This just makes your life easier for step 4. You should see a little yellow guy in the upper left hand corner of your chrome after installing.
4.) Go to Tweepi.com and log in via twitter. (also you should see something in the upper left corner of tweepi that says something like "try our new look" which changes the UI of tweepi to a newer beta version, this makes things a lot easier) Under the follow tools menu select "@user's followers" and then type in the name of a YouTuber that has a similar audience that you have. After doing this it will display all of that user's followers, but we only want the followers with high refollow ratios. So, to do this you select "add filter criteria" and in the first dropdown menu you select "follow ratio". In the second dropdown menu you select "greater than" and then in the third menu you type in "60" (which means greater than 60% refollow ratio). Now after this happens you should only see a small amount of users per page (and yes I said per page. A lot of people think it only narrows the search down to like 5 people but they don't see that you can go to another page at the bottom right corner of the screen.) Okay now this is where the Tweepi Default Action comes into play. If you click the yellow guy in the upper right hand corner of the screen it follow EVERYONE on that page, so you don't have to click each individual person to follow. After you click the yellow guy, just hit next page. After clicking to the next page 1 time, you can just hit the "enter" key on your keyboard and it will automatically go to the next page without having to click to the next page. Rinse and repeat until 1,000 people are followed and watch the refollowers flow. Don't be discouraged if you don't get a lot of the people you follow to refollow you (I only get about 100 a day) but that's 100 more people potentially looking at your channel than you had before.
5.) After each day of following make sure to go to "manage twitter" and unfollow everyone who hasn't followed you from the previous day, that way you don't have a huge amount of people that you follow. Make sure you do this BEFORE following more people at the beginning of each day. Remember Twitter allows you to follow up to 1,000 people every 24 hours so make sure you are taking advantage of that and flushing out the people that don't refollow
I hope this helps! Ever since I started doing this I went from getting 2-4 subs a day to getting around 7-10 subs a day with my newer videos getting around 100 views every day or two. Realize that in order to get yourself out there you have to bring your content to your viewers because when you first start out you will not be found by people via the YouTube search engine. If anyone has any questions feel free to message me and I will try my best to help!
