Getting through a rut?

I"m currently taking a break from my vlog channel as my views were seriously just going down with every video and it was really disheartening and I'm starting to feel the same with my new beauty channel. I feel like my growth has slowed down a lot as well as views and comments and its just frustrating. How do you not get discouraged? This rut just stinks

Hi, I get where you're coming from and the best tip is just keep making videos really. If you're stopping because of views you might need to reconsider what you're doing on youtube. I know that sounds mean but its true. I mean if you enjoy making the videos keep doing it! Because if that's what you like eventually people will come and get to see your channel. It might be a bit confusing but I hope you understand.000

I really don't want to stop on my beauty channel! I honestly love doing it and I just love being able to channel my passion into something like this. Ive been dragging my feet when it comes to my vlogging channel, I know later I will kick myself because its a great way to watch my daughter grow but ugh lol

Maybe it would help focusing on the one channel? I find when I try and focus on a load of things at once I end up giving less attention to the other and get rather burnt out.

I think you need to keep going and maybe focus on one channel at a time. I vlog as well and sometimes i feel like if my videos are actually that interesting. But i don't think you should stop, this rut should make you want to try even harder on your videos. You might regret it, so don't give up !

Keep your head up and keep making videos. Honestly, success consist of persistency and perseverance. Keep making videos because it's what you love to do!

If a beauty channel is what you want to focus on then keep doing it. As cliche as it may sound, you shouldn't be making videos for views and popularity, it should be about expressing what you love.

You just gotta keep on keepin' on, though I do admit, low views is discouraging. I mean, why put in all the extra effort if noone is gonna watch or care, right? I get that too, though mostly from my blog that also seemed to have dropped drastically in views last month for whatever reason. All one can do is just keep it going.

If you love it, keep doing it. Don't focus on the views or subscribers. Focus on what your passionate about and keep moving forward:)

I've finally realized that it takes a long time to become successful so that's why I make my channel simply as a part time hobby. If it works it works. If not, then I enjoyed it.
