Getting Subs and Views From Twitter!!!!

Unless someone sees your selfie and thinks "Wow. This is a really nice selfie. This person must make very high quality videos because this selfie is just amazing" and checks out your channel.

Hmmmm....yeah maybe I should post a picture of something I took. The only thing I am concerned is photo theft. Instagram erases the metadata including the copyright notice. That's why I tread carefully on there.

I feel like the entire internet is like that. People keep coming to me on youtube telling me I'm "Instagram famous" and there's a picture going around facebook and instagram making fun of my face. They could at least hook me up with a promo. ;-;

Your advice would seem more worth it. If you had more subs.
I've only been doing this for a month... I mean I dont think 130 subs in 1 month is ad?... tbh I use twitter because my tweet game is strong I slay my twitter game im constantly getting follows without following back anyways so people like me anyways, And I can use Instagram for self promo as long as I'm not one of those basics in the comment section... and I got about 30 subs in 2 days from fb from friends. Like all media is possible as long as you know what to do.

Aren't you the one thats always commenting on buzzfeed videos?

100 subs isn't bad but I'm just saying. Before you become a credible source you should get more subs first.

And. No......

I know Im not even a small YouTube im a micro tuber tbh... And I was just on their videos and I had seen your name and I clicked yo face and it took me to the link you is the one... I feel so smart for noticing context clues :D

And I understand where you are coming from I wasnt even mad, My personality is just like a resting b***h face but in my entirety and I try to not but it dont work then some random gets mad and I go full "Diva who got his cheeseburger stolen" on them.... I just got most of my subs from them and I was feeling myself for a second.

Yeah. I kinda have this infamy thing on youtube. That's why I get so many dislikes on my videos but it's worth it seeing as I get 300 - 400 subs a week.

But your videos aren't that bad. You're entertaining to watch which a lot of small youtubers don't remember when they're starting out. They make boring videos about their day or "What should I make videos about?" videos which make no sense at all. Your personality is pretty exceptional compared to your competition.

That's the reason why Twitter sucks promoting videos in the beginning:p its a dead end. Reddit can be a jackpot if someone shares a video you made, but Reddit extremely hates self promotion. Facebook has a bias towards YouTube embedding, and all we have left is Google Plus.

And Instagram is no use either. It's just for selfies. So, yep, we're screwed. This forum is like an island.

I can disagree at the last part. What I do is that I upload the thumbnail of my video, and I upload a 16-second highlight reel of my most recent video. I would then include the link in the description box. It gets me views, and more views with proper hashtagging.

I would not agree with most of the people on here... In my opinion Twitter is a huge BS-place where everyone gives his opinion nobody cares (except maybe close people).

My impression of Twitter is like the fat people in the carrier in Wall-E. Instead of eating they are like twit twit twit twit.

Now to my next opinion: Because it's a BS-place, nobody actually really cares about what you do there. So if you have a separate account for your channel (so not your personal one); try to use the scatter-gun approach, tweet like a madman, of the 1000 recipients there might be a handful people who go to your channel and even watch a video. If you do that enough there might be someone who will sub.

The only real drawback is you lose a lot of time and gain very little. But if you have too much spare time and you like tweeting, than that's in my opinion an option to consider.

MAINLY THIS.

Call me a spammer (don't worry, I have never spammed in the YouTube comments) but if you want to get your content out there, then let it out by sharing it to everyone you know. My mindset that gives me the confidence to share my videos everywhere (and even through facebook chat) is that I am confident with my videos. There's is one quote that has always catched on, it says, "make a video that you won't be ashamed to share with your mom." (I guess there's some kind of bias 'cuz I know the hardships of gaming channels, so I guess this advice is mainly applicable to comedy videos or vlogs)

And to you, Mr. SquealCat. I freaking love your videos.

Thanks WhatsUpmark :D

I feel I have to add something. Sharing is alright. But sharing via platforms like facebook, email, whatsapp, youtube, you should do that with love and care. When you spam on these platforms, you lose some goodwill from people who are close to you. I won't be happy if I received 10 identical whatsapp-messages from a good (or vague) friend of mine, where he proudly shows his new dice car mirror hanger.

Twitter on the other hand, nobody cares what you do there. If you tweet, they just don't care. Because you're not close, they don't give anything about your shout, even if you do that 30 times. Point is, they already don't go to your channel. If you tweet, they won't go either, with a small chance someone is actually curious and will DO look at your channel...
