GETTING SOME LOVELY SUBS WOULD BE WONDERFUL

Anybody have any tips that would help me gather some subscribers. Vlogging, like many other genres, is very hard to get a following because you have to get people to care about your life pretty much haha. Any tips that I can follow?!

You could do talks about current events, political issue or even religion. It would give people a reason to see your videos without knowing you, but some of the topics might be controversial and turn people away.

We are having this problem too. We are trying to find somewhere where bored people go to find things to watch. At the moment I have been adding other youtubers on twitter and following their stuff and hopefully getting noticed that way but some advice would be amazing. Vlogging is just such a niche. Also, i don't know if it works, but we have been commenting on bigger vloggers and getting into conversations hoping that people will look at our channel. What have you been doing?

First thing I notice is your vlogs are long, after you HAVE a following that's more acceptable, but when you're unknown you need to always cut out as many unnecessary things as possible, or even upload vlogs in different parts to keep your time to no more than 4 minutes tops. Statistically speaking you will get far less views the longer your vlogs are.

I watched one of your most recent Vlogs and I think it was 9 minutes long
Try shorten it a little and that should help
Also mix things up do sit down videos aswell as walk around Vlogs

You definitely don't want your niche to be this small on YouTube, try to find other ways to open your niche up to more than just family and friends. Maybe you're really into travel, old cars, crazy adventures, vlog about it. Check out the bigger vloggers that you follow and see what it is about them that makes you watch their videos.

oh don't forget you don't have to stick to just one niche if you (for example) like both cars and travel incorporate both into the channel and if you do it right you are opening up to two different audiences

Why would people wanna watch you? There are so many other people to watch who are a lot larger than you! Think about that. Why watch you? Make there be a reason, and by that time you won't have to worry about having a following.
