Getting rid of advertisement banners and pop-up's on YouTube

Does anybody know how to get rid of advertisement banners and pop-up windows on YouTube? Adware blocking software doesn't seem to help like it should.

there are plugins for it but normally you shouldn't because it hurts creators with adverts, some who make a living from it

Yeah, I know, but I also get random pop-ups on occasion for no apparent reason! Plus, those banners almost always seem to have nothing to do with the video or channel.

In the corner of the ad, it should show who is providing the ad. Do a search regarding that ad network and see if there are complaints about malicious programs.

If you're using the Chrome browser on a PC, click on the menu icon (the three bars) in the upper right-hand corner. Hover on Tools, then click on extensions. See if there as been any malicious extensions added such as DigiCoupon.

Okay. What about Firefox, Internet Explorer, or Opera?[DOUBLEPOST=1394662802,1394660331][/DOUBLEPOST]Alright. The problem appears to be fixed, at least, for now anyway. Lol!
