We are around the same subscriber level I was so excited to be reaching 500. Now I am like yay half way to 1000. I have only been taking my channel seriously for a few months but have been on and off youtube for 18months. We can do it! x

Social media is very helpful but I think using the one you are most familiar with is the best because that way you'll probably get results faster. I've had some success with tumblr where I also made a bunch of friends with other small youtubers. Now I'm beginning to learn how to use twitter and I'm already starting to get a lot of interactions there!

I have no idea how to use Tumblr haha. I just share everything from my instagram on there not really sure what it does. I think I am pretty good with twitter xxx

If you go back to my older videos there are several over 5000views and one at 12000.

I also share on my personal Facebook where a lot of friends view it but hey don't have a youtube account so aren't subscribed.

Along with my previous guess. I know that the subscribers I do have always tweet me and say how they liked each video so I'm guessing my conversion rate of viewer to subscriber is good. I think that's a good thing means that people want to see more of me? Rather than 5000 views and only 500 people want to see it again?
