Getting lost in the crowd

Ok some of my latest videos have gotten as low as 50 views, one even 30 but it never sent to the feed the thing never changed from a circle to a check. And you know I used to assume everyone saw it and people just didn't click it but I see no way that's true and even have lots of subscribers I talk to regularly who I'll say a few days after the upload "did you like my last video" and they're like "huh? I didn't notice it! link me!" my sub count goes up daily, and is at over 600, none of these are bots or sub for sub.

Do you guys have any tips or tricks for assuring your subs know you are uploading and don't miss you? All I can think of is asking them if I can add them to my contacts and pm them my videos but I'd have to indivudually ask 600 people, that's not gonna happen. Any ideas? And btw, for those of you expressing your views are down, I bet it's the same issue with you. I highly doubt tons of people subscribe to us, only to then ignore all our uploads, I think they miss them. And this would make sense with the new stupid layout.

Back when all you had in your feed was uploads, you could spend few days away from youtube, come back, watch all the videos in your feed, and not miss anyone. But now you just leave for one day, and the sheer amount of comments and reccomendations and all that garbage that flies by makes it so alot of people's uploads just get shoved down to the bottom. How can we fight this? How can we get our subs back to being aware of all our uploads? Any ideas?

I did not check out your channel so these are general tips.

1. Create content that viewers want to make sure that they don't want to miss a video.

2. Make sure that your presentations include a "call to action". That means, ask them questions to make them comment on your videos. This way, their comments on YOUR video show up in THEIR feeds. This is like free advertising.

3. I highly discourage messaging people. It can come across as being needy.

Perhaps asking them to follow your social media to get a tweet or fb update? But that's difficult because you have to coordinate social media platforms with your viewers.

You could try and make a video asking them to check the uploads only for all the people they're subscribed to? But that prolly won't work either.

I thought of both of those things, and thought "not sure that would work" as well hahaha except maybe twitter, twitter might be good.... we'll give it a shot. Thanks bro.

Symph, are you running a pretty set upload schedule?

You may find that helps. If you can train your subs to check at a particular time for your video because there always is as that time on that day, then you can avoid some of the subbox nonsense.

Twitter is good, but getting all of your subs to subscribe on both YouTube and twitter is tougher.

OMG... you just hit the NAIL ON THE HEAD. I USED to upload to a schedule, and got much more views back then, then I said "screw the schedule I'll just upload at random" and the views dropped like crazy, but I hadn't put the two things together yet!!!!!!! I bet that's what it is!!!!! I'm gonna make you a cake, and then make me a schedule, thanks for bringing that to my attention!!!
