Getting comfortable On Camera??

Hey everyone, so I've come to a bit of a roadblock. Im a very outgoing and let loose type of person, so my sense of humor comes naturally. For some reason when the camera is on me I turn into an introvert and I can't come up with jokes or be myself. I have always loved making videos and having people enjoy my videos, but recently I've had a hard time being myself. What do you guys do to loosen up in front of the camera and be yourself? Thank you in advance (:

A good thing to do is write key points about the video which you can look at while recording. This just helps to not worry and therefore be more like yourself on camera. Been good on camera does come with time. hope this slightly helps.[DOUBLEPOST=1465424414,1465424370][/DOUBLEPOST]Btw nice looking channel you have

Actually that does help a lot, kind of like a teleprompter! Thank you (:

I can easily be myself when I have company with me while I am recording, like my brother or something. I also like winging videos sometimes, because I am a lot more funnier on the spot, rather than written on a script.

try doing a storyboard first of what you want to do. Then do the take :) Doing it a million times isn't bad :) it'll make you more comfortable with the camera ;) been there as well and know I can say I'm not that shy anymore ;) you can do it!

You have all the time of the world! Just start talking like you're talking to a friend. Don't like it? Delete it and try again. If you edit, cut out the parts that are less important. That can be rough, which can be a good outcome for your video!

Be yourself, don't focus on the fact that you are talking into an inanimate object. Know kind of what you are going to say before you start and just like others said, just keep rolling till you get a take you like.

Most of all, practice. The more you do it, the easier it gets.
