Getting back on Youtube after being absent for a bit...

Hey Eveun! It's great that you're even being so thoughtful as to wanting to explain it to them, that's very nice of you, and I'm sure they'll appreciate it :) Any kind of explanation is better than none! I'm glad you're doing better, which is the most important thing, and I'm sure your subscribers will also just be happy that you're back! So tell them as much as you feel comfortable telling and get back to making videos! :D

Thank you for your kind words :D Yes, I definitely realize communicating with my subscribers is important more and more these days, thanks for the great advice ><!

Hey Eveun! As one of your subs, I was wondering where you went! XD What matters is you're back though! :D

But yeah, I had 2 channels before (both terrible and not really worth watching) and I just disappeared for a few months without notice. I didn't lose and subscribers but my views did go up in that time, but now its just forever stuck haha. But yeah, after that few months period, I just started up with a new (permanent this time) channel, a "reboot", with better equipment :D

But yeah, I didn't really give an explanation :P but then, I personally know most of my subscribers back on that old channel haha. Would I do the same now? heck no, I figured communications with my subs is important XD

Glad to hear you're feeling better and look forward to seeing more of your videos soon!

I was terminated due to an "automated spam error" so I didn't get to tell my subs. But after making my new acct I got right back into it

I literally fell of the face of YouTube for a few weeks after something happened. When I came back I told my subscribers what was going on. At the time I was below 100 subscribers, so it wasn't that big of a deal.

You don't really owe folks an explanation, but it is better that you do to avoid questions or gossip. I also have FaceBook, Twitter and Instagram. If something ever comes up I'll post to facebook. Some subscribers will know what is going on at that point, and if a question by another comes up they will answer it for you.

Haha thank you so much for that ^_^; Hmm got ya, I suppose if you disappear for a bit and then come back your views tend to get stuck or if it ever goes up, it goes up very slowly...! good to know, and very glad to hear that you bounced right back from that period and are doing well with your 2nd channel =D![DOUBLEPOST=1426688971,1426688758][/DOUBLEPOST]

Ugh those errors...glad to hear you got right back into it! Good luck with your new account :)!

That's good that you're on multiple social media, your subscribers will always feel very connected to you, that's a great tip. Thank you :D

It is a bit different for you as I was just uploading here and there videos of my daughter was not pretty active then decided to be active. I just made a video quicly trying to explain that I was not feeling well but was going to make new types of videos. Just tell your sub you are sorry for the wait and you are back :wavespin:

I have had two stomach surgeries in the last three years but only twice have I gone ten days without an upload since 2009. I'm not a vlogger but you can still have projects in the can and have them scheduled.

I would think just telling your subscribers about your medical adventure would be a sufficient return Vlog. And I would leave a call to action to see what they want to see in your next vlog. Just to give them a little interaction and a consolation prize.

Welcome back Eveun! Hope you feel much better and have rested up. Don't have any tips for you but glad to hear you're ready to jump back into the YouTube mix and didn't deter you from wanting to make more content. :thumbsup2::Blackalien2:
