Get Subscribers To Follow You On Twitter?

Hello everyone! I have a YouTube channel with 1.6k subs who are very active on YouTube but not so much on Twitter. I only have 97 (all subscribers) followers which I believe is quite low. I do not really promote my Twitter though, it is only in the top right corner on my channel where everyone puts there social media links (I don't know how to explain it) and it is low down in my description.

So back to my title, how do you get your subscribers to follow you on Twitter? Like which ways can I promote my twitter account?

As well, how do you get more people to read the description? I put all my links there and want people to see and click on them. Thank you!
 
I have no idea how many of my twitter followers are also subs. Not all are, I'm sure. Someone at some point was giving me +Kred on this one site (kred.com) and it all the wrong categories, so I was gaining twitter followers in Real Estate, Marketing, etc. (not my target audience at all). I finally got the site to remove my profile (that I never authorized to be created) so hopefully I can attract more folks in my target audience (geeks and gamers).
 
If you tell people to like comment and subscribe in your videos I would recommend remove saying like and comment and replace it with follow me on twitter @yourhandle and instead persuade them to comment by asking them a question.
 
at least you're doing better than me on this twiter thing. i have 400 subs and all my followers im sure are just spam bots.
 
You can add it into your outro to change things up, just like @Ryko said. Add "follow me on Facebook, Twitter..." whatever you do. And you can add the links in text on the screen so the subscribers know how to find you. Good luck!
