General Monetization Inquiry

Hi!

I have a self filmed video but my music was on in the background.

How can I upload and monetize this with the music being a copyright violation.

I was told all I have to do to this video or any video to bypass this is to change the video "enhancements" such as deleting a small portion (i.e 1 second) of the song or changing the song quality etc then it wont be detected?

Is the bypass way true, if not how should I upload this to monetize (or to use the bypass thing in the future)

Thanks!

Less than 30 seconds of music doesn't usually get detected, that or speeding up/slowing down, or changing the pitch of the song. With the music being there you still have a chance of getting in trouble because it's not your music, so just be careful I guess.

So if I upload the video, and change the pitch and slow it down by a very lil amount (not even noticeable) this will possibly get youtube off my back.

also when I put in original there is a box that says explain. do I just type in self filmed video or leave it blank>?

Well if music get detected via CONTENT ID system, usually Youtube will provide a option to remove music, its cool tool, basicly it will save all your voices without music hearing, offcourse quality will suck sometimes (because its still beta) but its great tool, and usually works all the time.....so yeah
