Gaming Video Question (for Diablo players)

So, I've recently started a new gaming series with Diablo III and I'm trying to break out my videos based on the "chapters" in the game itself. However the chapters are getting somewhat long-ish (20-30 minutes). Should I split the chapters into parts to keep them below 15 minutes, or post the entire chapter no matter the length?

I do something similar with my WoW videos, where I'm doing solo dungeon and raid run-throughs, and I haven't been splitting them up. Some of my most popular WoW videos are my 30-40 minute raid run-throughs.

What do you guys think?

that is a question that is completely up to you. Because there is no real answer, it's how ever long you want to release the videos as.

I know some big YouTubers like to split videos into multiple parts to make more money off of them, but aside from that, you can do it whichever way you want.

Well from a viewers perspective though, do you think people would be willing to watch for that long? or will it decrease the likelihood that people will watch?

We should WoW together sometime! :D

As said, it's up to you. I think the longer they are, the less people will be willing to watch the whole thing. The internet has a short attention span; people on their lunch break won't have the time or commitment to a 30 minute video, so compartmentalising is a good strategy that allows a viewer to watch one video one day, and then move on to the next video at a time of their choosing. Otherwise, a viewer would watch 15 minutes of one 40 minute video, close down Youtube and have to go to the trouble of finding the 15 minute mark when they return later.

Check how the time your viewers stay and see how they prefer the videos :) maybe that might help? but if up to you really ^^
