Try playing Mods in existing games. Stuff like Garrys Mod for Counterstrike or Promod and Freeze Tag for CoD 4. Obviously I'm assuming you own a gaming PC

I think i'm going with the Indie/Free game idea, I'll make some hour long ish first impression videos on some free indie games
