Gaming Monetization - Just showing hands?

So Youtube does not allow no commentary walkthroughs to be monetized anymore, and needs some presence in the video.

Is just showing the user's hands playing enough?
For example (not my channel):

This person just recorded their hands but with no commentary.

Is that allowed? I would personally think it's not enough added value, but they apparently got re-monetized after adding this to their videos.

I have no idea of the answer to the question but those hands don't even look real. They look like computer graphics. Even if real, they could belong to anyone and I don't see how having them adds any value at all to the video.
