Gaming channel?

Now,if you know me on here,you know i'm a comedy channel and I like to mess with people a lot. Well,I'm also a gamer. I've wanted to make a gaming channel,but I can admit that the genre is incredibly overdone (especially MineCraft,which is the game I plan on centering on).

Now if I were to make a gaming channel,it would obviously be second channel,as my focus is on comedy and commentary videos. I would love to make gaming videos but they wouldn't fit on my channel at all. I'd also like to have at least 100 to 200 subscribers before starting a second channel. Mostly because I don't want to start a secondary channel that nobody knows exist. At least with 100 or 200 subs, some of my subscribers would migrate over to the gaming channel.

I'm kinda interested in doing this,but should I?
 
Do what you enjoy. If that's gaming, then go for it! Just because there is a lot of YouTube Gamers out there doesn't mean there isn't any more room left. :)
 
Thanks! I mean,I really want to do this but it would be a while. I first have to get a job to be able to afford new games to play,and a new microphone (which is a big time need right now). But I can see myself doing this. I just need to grow my main channel a bit more :D
 
Just do it if you want to. If you are enjoying it then why not? You could always just shut that channel down later.

Well PC would be what i'd start with anyways. I don't have a Dazzle or HDVPVR so PC would be my platform until I get a job,like I said.
 
Why not making that channel now? It would only do good, because there would now be twice as much chance for people to subscribe to you, and if they enjoy they might sub on both! Or why not make a hilarious gaming channel?
