Gamez Over

Just taken a look for you and straight away when your channel loads up your banner is the first thing i notice, it looks really cool and stands out nicely same with you Avatar, same thing with your thumb nails, really catchy and really nice to look at, your intro video is quick, easy and to the point which is really cool, i watched the video you have on the Order and the latest one is one huge cutscene which is cool to watch but after a while i want something to happen, some action, actual gameplay or some commentary would be nice.

I think overall your channel is pretty cool but maybe add a few things to help drive your channel, for instance i see you don't have a channel trailer which is always overlooked and is useful in letting people what to expect from your channel and also the layout, if you head to mine for example, you'll see how its all layered and with a video that automatically plays when somebody new arrives to the channel, i see you have playlists and that's cool, maybe not best to like your own videos though or at least don't show that you like your own videos haha ;)

Your channel is good, keep up the good work and the rest will fall into place.

Hey,

First off, I like to really thank you for taking the time to reply :)

I appreciate the praise as it's nice to know that I'm doing some things right. I'll definitely take those comments on board for my next series so watch this space.

No problem buddy, it seems forums like this are just spam filters for people to throw videos onto and hope for views, likes, etc. i like to give feedback where i can and when im not uploading to my channel and i saw yours and thought i'd help :) let me know when you upload something new (not the order) and i'll come take another look

I can't tell you how much I appreciate that buddy :)

I really like how clean and cohesive your channel is. Your layout for thumbnails goes hand in hand with your channel banner and that is something I definitely think you should keep up when playing other games in the future. As you get more of a repertoire remember to set up playlists and such as you go and post them to your homepage so it's not just a list of uploads you have.

I think you are on the right track for sure and if you keep working at it it'll be great! One suggestion when it comes to a channel trailer when you decide to make one is make sure to have a lot of your best clips to show as well to give people an idea of what your channel is like. It helps you to put your best foot forward and give them a reason why they should sub on top of you just saying, "I'm a great person!"

And another thing that is totally under utilized on YouTube is the About section which, correct me if I'm wrong here, but can help with your SEO. Don't write it for an SEO though. Write it for people, Google is pretty smart about doing the rest :) I would fix up that a bit, let us know about you and what you do on YT. Your posting schedule and maybe why you do it. You have 1000 characters so make them count! :D

@Okari - Again, thank you for taking the time to reply.

I really appreciate the positive comments on my channel. Stupid question, but where would I find the settings to post a playlist to the front page?

I'll definitely be creating a channel trailer as soon as I get into my next series which will also include commentary.

I've been struggling with the 'About Me' section, still figuring out wording.

Directly across from where your Username is on the right hand side of the page you'll see an edit pencil tool. Click on that and then Edit Channel Navigation and it'll pop open. At the top there under the Browse section on the right hand side there is a default view, make sure that says enabled and then save. Once you're on your page you should be able to add playlists and set up your channel so that it looks the way you'd like it to.
