What games are doing well on youtube? and how do you guys find out which games are doing well
 
Any game can really end up doing well on YouTube. It's really more about the type of video you create around the game. Whether it is playing games you love and doing commentaries about them, playing terrible games and making fun of them, playing old games and relating them to new ones - the game itself doesn't matter as much as what you do with it.

Just my 2 cents.
 
Play the games you love playing, if you want to get a new game, then get a game you think you would like and would also make good videos, it is all up to you to decide if a certain game is "recordable" or not.
 
Usually it's the most popular game of the month, a multiplayer game with a large playerbase and horror games.
 
I think it depends on what kind of videos you want to make and the type of games YOU like to play, because theres nopoint producing content on a game you dont like just for views. Just do you man and im sure you'll do fine
 
The most recent game that has come out seems to be quite popular. At the moment its overwatch, in a few weeks its gunna be no man's sky
 
In general i think indie horror games are poular, i like to watch the oculus rift horror games too, you could maybe play that new "Inside" game
