not particularly but i know that with sony vegas you can make some pretty cool intros by using templates!

you can get it fairly cheap if you look hard enough. i got it quite cheap yet i can't remember where

I use AVS Video Editor because I wasn't sure if Vegas Pro could do anything with .FLV files.

i actually like to use camtasia studio because it has pretty good video compression, is really easy to use and comes with decent capture software. i use it instead of fraps because it doesent use much cpu power too

camtasia is a bit expensive but i recommend it!
