Game capture you would recommend?

Andyy

I've Got It
I am going to make a trolling youtube channel what game capture do you guys recommend me getting?

I've had a Roxio Game Capture HD Pro, which already stopped working after about 6 months. It also records it's video in .m2ts format, which couldn't be imported directly into my editing software without converting it to a .mp4. Although the quality was good, and it was easy to setup/use, I wouldn't really recommend one because of the 1st two points I made.

I've now got an Elgato Game Capture HD. I think it's very good! It's small in size, easy to setup, looks slick, the recordings are good quality, the capture software is easy to use, and records it's videos in .mp4 so can be dropped straight into Vegas. I would definitely recommend one!

Avermedia Game Capture HD 2(C285) or Elgato

I am fan of the Avermedia because you don't need a PC to record clips and it records in excellent quality just like the Elgato. If you like me like editing programs like Sony Vegas Pro i suggest you stay away from Hauppauge HD PVr 2 and Roxio Game Capture HD Pro. These capture cards are notorious for not dropping files in Vegas.

I use the Avermedia Game Capture HD 2(C285). Its very good, records in great quality, no need to hook up a PC for recording and it records in MP4 so you can straight drop files in Sony Vegas Pro for final editing. Definitely recommend Avermedia or Elgato:)
