Fun for me, not so much for her. What does your other half think?

My wife helps me a lot. But the revenue from the channel is also quite significant some months - it is not purely a hobby.

I'm learning to really appreciate my wife's insight. For segments that involve my puppets she listens and let's me know how understandable the dialog is which is immensely helpful. When you script/rehearse/record and edit something your ears are not the best to judge whether something can be understood by John Q. Public.

Haha oh yeah totally, my partner thinks it's a silly hobby that I do to get attention (you can imagine how mad I got when he said this lol). He hates being in it if i'm vlogging & just has no interest in it whatsoever except if it has something to do with cars haha

My significant other gets p****d at times when I take hours editing. But now she is on board to start her own channel down the line. We're prepping for that right now, but it will probably take a back seat since there is some stuff going on that stops me from doing more. It is also the reason why I haven't done anything with ThatDashcamChannel in a while!

My wife has been amazing from the start, fully supportive. She was the one who came up with the idea for having movie premiere parties back in the old days when we did just one or two videos per year. She always is coming up with great ideas and is the perfect partner to brainstorm with, I tend to be a little more wild and wooly and she is able to bring me back to earth with a more practical solution. She also handles most of our social media and product research.

I just wish she could learn how to shoot and edit so I could take a break! :p But then she wouldn't need me!

When I created my channel back in 2008 I expected only my friends to watch. That is like maybe 10 people. I never expected to go this far with it. Now it is a constant thing integrated into my life. My channel has become my hobby, and I am constantly trying to improve it, to please my subscribers and random viewers. I am always thinking of how I can come up with new content for good entertainment. My wife does not share my interest or watch any of my videos, and thinks what I do is silly. Do any of you have a partner who isn't into your youtube thing?
My wife doesn't know the existense of my Youtube channel. She's getting a bit suspicious lately though...

My wife accepted it as an extension of my toy collecting hobby. She rarely helps with anything though.

My boyfriend says its all trashy and dumb, he hates when I show him that a lot of people like it, he gets angry and says "b******t"

Well, it's hard out here
