To be fair, I did not choose the 100% of 60% rev share. I was told by the CEO of BBTV to announce that, so I did.

Please do not blame me for things I did not decide.

You decided to tow the line even though you knew it was a deception.
The problem is that when you sleep with dogs, you get fleas too.

The amusing thing about the new MCN rules is that people could intentionally bring an MCN down. All it would take is 7 channels and 3 strikes each.

Actually, a "partner strike" does not count for 30 days. Also, they expire after 3 months.

The rules are different for MCN "partner strikes" than for "channel strikes". Did you know that?

So, if what you suggest happens, the MCN simply shows YouTube within 30 days and they take appropriate actions, which I imagine would not include shutting down the network based on malicious intent by a few channels.

Ultimately, you are responsible for how you represent yourself. I get pitched deals every day. I say no to 99% of them because it's not how I want to represent myself or my channel. You made the video and attached your name to it, and you need to accept that it did a lot of damage to your image.

Ultimately, I left TGN because I was boxed in and could not make the decisions I felt were important. Please judge me now as the CEO of any.TV with a direct relationship with Google (no middle-man) and look at Freedom! as the vision I wanted to create for TGN.

In particular:

  • No lock-in forever contracts
  • Base 60% revenue share up to 110%
  • Free game servers, like our 2,000-slot Minecraft server at 1.minecraft.tm (type that into Minecraft to join the server) with more coming

For more details about all this, just google "mcnfreedom" and look us up on YouTube.

Hope this helps![DOUBLEPOST=1389242917,1389242502][/DOUBLEPOST]

I think the 42-year-old Markee Dragon, our first network with Freedom!, is not 15 :)

That said, why do you disparage young entrepreneurs?

Instead, teach them and help them grow!

You may be surprised at how professional they can become. I know, I was 15 once.

So, if your boss tells you to do X, do you tell him "No?"

Well, in a sense, that is what I did by choosing to leave TGN and BBTV so I could make my own decisions.

But in general, the boss gets his way 100% of the time.

I love his response to this. :hilarious2:

Thoughts?

Isn't Fullscreen the network responsible for the youtube changes because a lot of their partners uploaded copyright music? I can't take this clown or any staff from Fullscreen serious anymore.

OK, let's have a fair discussion. At what time did you know that you were deceiving your partners and at what time did you actually leave the company.[DOUBLEPOST=1389243597,1389243491][/DOUBLEPOST]

While FS was the used as an example, there were obviously lots
of networks that had channels that were violating copyright laws.

I am aware that the rules are slightly different. However, you show a great deal of faith in YouTube helping you out of gaming the system they've designed to protect themselves. No they will not let you manage everyone and then run to them every time you have a problem because you managed the wrong channel.

Oh okay that I did not know, but the other thing I left out was Fullscreen being the only network that was going to get sued so they ran to youtube for help. Thus youtube responded and created this whole manage/affiliate thing.

Thank you for a fair discussion :)

I filed my resignation letter within 30 days of publishing that announcement video if I remember correctly.
