Frozen view count?

On Wednesday I posted a video, as I do every Wednesday, however yesterday (Thursday) my views just seemed to stay the same (49) all day, and I know people may be thinking well yeah...that's just probably how many views you got but I know for a fact after I checked my views (49) yesterday 6 of my friends (separately) watched that video and yet when I checked later in the day it was still at 49??? Anyone else has a similar problem? **I have also been notified on my stats page about YouTube under-counting my views from April through to May 12 or something but I wonder if this issue is happening again or something?**

Three factors could be the reason:
-The server has not updated the amount of views yet.
-YouTube is not accurate in counting views, some views are not counted (happens with me)

You will find frequently that YouTube data goes through what appear to be blackout periods. Whether it's views like you mention, likes, even comments not showing up or zero view days in analytics despite views still ocurring. Just try to have a bit more patience. If a problem with views continues for longer than a week, then maybe there is a problem but usually these issues sort themselves out in a few days.
