I Love YTtalk
So we were chosen for CANON commercial - a real fantasy movie promoting new product. What is the connection with YouTube? Well - they asked for audition to send a movie of our son playing with toys, running toward the camera etc. So together with the movies I send them a direct link to our YouTube channel. I can't be absolutely sure but I have the strong feeling that the link have helped with the final decision (I guess hundreds of kids were competing for single place).
During the shooting of the movie - 2 days two different locations (deep in the mountains and in a studio) the YouTube training again helped a lot. For example a single scene had to be repeated in different variation for more than one and half hours - no problem at all (Alex is only 5 years old). He was actually asking me when he can say something like "Thank you for watching"
At the end both the filming crew and everybody else was highly satisfied!
Moral of the story - if YouTube does not want to make us viral may be some filming company will do it!
