From Virgin to You Tube

You import the file to your computer then click the 'upload' button on youtube and select the file :) I'm assuming you're talking about Virgin TV, so with that it may get taken down due to copyright if it's TV material[DOUBLEPOST=1394135385][/DOUBLEPOST]
....I think this thread is inappropriate...
I think he means the company :P

Hi I have something recorded on my Virgin box, how can I transfer it on to You tube?

What did you record it with? The Virgin Box? I'm not too sure if you're allowed to copy Recorded Films off your Virgin Box, I know we tried it on our Sky Box and it didn't work and I'm going to assume Virgin Media do the same. Also you can't upload most TV shows to YouTube, unless you're going to make it private and have it there for Personal Use. :)

It an episode of Holden Balls that I appeared on, loads of my friends want to watch it, but how do I get the file to my laptop from my Virgin Box?

Yes I've recorded on my Virgin Media box, and would like to at least get it on my laptop just so maybe I could put it on my portable memory drive. Something to show my kids when they get older.

I'm not sure if you can, most won't let you like Sky. Your best bet is a PVR. :)

Going from virgin to YouTube is a very delicate task. You first need to make sure that both you and YouTube are ready and mature enough to handle the consequences. It's not something to take lightly. You're both giving each other the most precious thing you have to offer: yourself. If you think you're ready, please be safe.
