What do you think about GIMP? Thats what I used for my last banner but it was a bit complicated. Adobe Photoshop pretty good?

GIMP is a really good program, imo the best one you can get for free Photoshop has some more extras and tools in it (afaik, never really used GIMP), but you'll have to pay for it (I think it's $29,99 per month for the Creative Cloud, I'm not sure)

Its hard because I dont know how to do a lot. But after seeing the banner, what did you do, use a random background an get creative with the font?

I actually got a grayish background (that's why you can still slighly see the gray in the background), merged 2 or 3 pictures on top of it, and indeed get creative with the font. It isn't that difficult to do, and gives some great results

See the background on my current banner was pre made, all I did was download the fonts and threw em on there and well thats the ending results.

I need to learn how to make banners because I cant expect anyone to keep making them for me. That goes for intros for my videos as well.
