Is there any fully free editing software out there that are really good. Like I dont wanna deal with trials.

Personally, I find EzVid a good software to use, it has a very simple interface to use, you can import video clips and images into it, you can add backing tracks and text to your videos, and you can also add a commentary to your videos, it can record in full 720p and you get all of this totally free!

I tried that and it kept giving me stupid backround music instead of the recorded commentary already in the video

In order to work your way around that, download a silent MP3 track, and then change the music option to 'use my own' and then change it to the MP3 track, this works for me normally.

I have used a number of editing software but among free I would rank windows movie maker. It comes free by default with windows xp and older versions but you have to install as an extra utility with windows 7. Its really easily to work with and can help you out even for professional editing of videos.

Try the editing software called wax. Its pretty nice, I used it for a while then got Sony Vegas.

VideoPad! There is a free version and a paid version, but there's not a huge difference between them. It's pretty easy to pick up, and you automatically get the pro version free for 2 weeks, then you can switch to the free version. It's what I use right now, and it does the job. No watermarks or anything like that on your videos.
