Free editing software?

Heey!

I'm needing to know is there is any free editing software that's really good?
People are saying windows movie maker isn't that good so I was wondering if there is any alternative that's free? I don't start my job yet so I don't have money so if anyone knows editing software for free to edit my videos please say!
It's to be ale to trim, split my clips, Also being able to insert pictures and all that!

Only way to get good video editing for free I would say is to torrent or wait until you can afford a better one. ^^

I second that...Either torrent or you are going to spend some money on a decent editing software. Either way totally worth it.

I say torrent in my personal opinion, but that's just me XD
