Fraps or Camstasia?

As someone who has tried about 10 different recorders... OBS. FRAPS seemed to have troubles actually using the files in Premiere Pro, while others like Camstudio and Camtasia, seemed to be glitchy as anything. OBS has been pretty good, and it pretty much made my water temple theory possible... haha it makes me feel fine to just pop open a game to get some footage, whereas FRAPS made it feel like a chore...

Hmm.. I'm definitely trying out OBS Studio now. Fraps does have some troubles and such. I tried Camstasia for a short amount of time and it didn't really work for me. I'm really curious about OBS now since a lot of people recommended it to me

I just downloaded OBS Studio. Haven't tried it out yet but I probably will, sometime this week. It actually looks easy to use. Hopefully, I won't have problems with it

Wait, I have something way better to share! Go with MSI Afterburner + RIVA Tuner. They are benchmarking apps but come with a decent yet lightweight recording app which is customizeable.

Best of all, it's free. There's nothing else better than this.

Alternatively if you have a compatible NVIDIA card, try ShadowPlay.

Oooh! I've never heard of MSI Afterburner + RIVA tuner before. Hmm.. I'll try it out if it turns out that I didn't like OBS. ShadowPlay, huh. I'd have to update my NVIDIA card for that. I'm saving for a new cpu anyways so maybe I'll try that out in the future

I know someone said OBS already, but seriously OBS is amazing! I had problems with Fraps for years and switching to OBS made all my recordings way nicer!

Good thing I already downloaded it, huh? I'm expecting a lot of things with OBS because of you all. Hopefully, the problems I had with fraps will not occur in OBS
