Fraps Issues !!

If you can't see the yellow FPS counter then FRAPS won't record anything because it isn't locked on to anything. Make sure FRAPS is open before you start whatever you are recording. Worst comes to worst, if FRAPS can't capture whatever it is then try enabling desktop capture and capturing your actual Windows screen rather than the specific game/application.

Meh, either way you are using free trial of FRAPS which is utterly pointless anyway.

Go find a free alternative e.g. MSI afterburner or bandicam or something.

I think you need to start Fraps first, then start the game you want to record.

You should try CamStudio, it can record screens easily, and all you need after that is use Virtual Audio Cable for a Stereo Mix + Mic together (tutorials)
