I worry that a lot of folks who have hit the really high numbers forget that each single digit is a living, breathing human being who is supporting their channel.

Oh I have no doubt in my mind! I guess when you are a big youtuber it is about the views so that you get more money.. Its a shame really when you think about it.

I like the feeling that I know there are a few subs that will for sure watch all of my videos that I post like within a day of me posting it. I don't have a lot of subs. But my subs are pretty cool

You're so right. It can be disheartening to see other channels out there with such large numbers and sometimes I'll go crazy trying to come up with an idea that I think will surely get me more views (and then it usually doesn't) but I have to remind myself that I haven't even been going a year and these other channels have been up for years so it's not really fair to compare. I just make what I like and if it turns out someone else likes it too then I'm happy happy

You're so right. Thats a really good way of looking it. I am the same, I will record something and think that it will pick my channel up but it normally doesn't :s. The other thing I look at when checking out big channels is the amount of videos they have posted. Alot of the time they have posted hundreds of videos over the space of 5 years so it is worth thinking of that .

It's awesome to think of all the subs individually, but I can understand how the big guys forget.
I'm not a big channel by any means, but I have about 38k. Now I can't picture them all individually. the biggest place I've ever been to had 5k people in there, so I can picture that. But like you said, when you go to the analytics and see all these different countries, and ages, it really wakes you up.
I've actually met a little boy around 6 that said he loved my cartoon series. and it nearly made me cry, so awesome!

The analytics blow your mind when you look at them! Holy crap! I would have cried my eyes out! I think if anyone ever sent me a fan letter or drawing I would be in pieces!

I got my first one the other day. I had a person send me a picture through my Facebook page of a recreation they did of one of my cakes. It was so awesome, it totally made my day. I started going through analytics today in more detail and I am so confused, I think I need a "Dummies guide to YouTube analytics" book to understand it all.

Yep totally i think even if i had 1 subscriber and watcher watching my videos, i would still make them just because its fun and i know I'm making entertainment for atlas 1 person out there

Yea i think thats it. If you can make someone happy that has got to be the most amazing feeling. I always think if just one person comes home angry or sad and watches one of my videos and it cheers them up.. That is mind blowing.
